About
History
Creativehosting, game & voice server provider, was founded in 2003 by Ale Katsma and Pieter Zandbergen. In 2004 it became part of 86 Internetdiensten, a company which was already founded in 2001 by Pieter Zandbergen. From the beginning Creativehosting focused on delivering high quality. The fast network, powerful hardware, and expertise contribute to this.
Hardware
The server park of Creativehosting highly evolved over time. During the beginning several services were hosted on Intel Pentium 4 servers of our own manufacturing, now dozens of Dell PowerEdge servers keep our services up and running. The choice for Dell has been made because of the reliability and easy integration. Extended specifications can be found in the server overview.
Network
A fast and reliable network is as even important as fast hardware. Creativehosting uses the TransIP network which has been proven stable in recent years. Direct connections to national & international networks contribute to a low latency. A schematic overview of the network is available on the network page.
Crew & admins
Our public game servers are managed by an enthusiastic group of crew and admins. Naast het beheren van de publieke gameservers zijn zij ook te vinden op IRC & ons forum waar klanten terecht kunnen met vragen over zowel de publieke gameservers alsmede game- & voiceservers gehuurd bij Creativehosting.
